Join the Global Lounge and other new students for a practical orientation tour of the city. Get to know all that Bristol has to offer as you begin your new student life. Our friendly student Ambassadors will be your tour guides and will be happy to answer any questions you may have and give you their top tips for settling in. Meeting point: the Global Lounge, First Floor Senate House, Tyndall Avenue, BS8 1TH All students are welcome, places are limited and booking is essential to guarantee your place.

The event takes place at the Ashton Court Estate, just across the River Avon from Bristol city centre. The event takes place at Eastville Park, Fishponds Road, Eastville, Bristol BS5 6PX. What does it cost to join in? Nothing - it's free! but please register before you first come along. Only ever register with parkrun once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time. Join Global team at Royal Fort Gardens for a classic British picnic in the park in collaboration with Sports, Exercise and Health. This event will include a wide range of different sports and activities, from casual to competitive. Have a go at the Sports Relay, try out Spikeball or have a game of Badminton with your friends. There will be something for everyone to enjoy! Additionally, you can: Try out some delicious British picnic snacks and soft drinks. Join the Nature Immersion session to relax and take in your surroundings Make new friends Enjoy some fun summer sports day games alongside a range of other activities This event will be taking place in Royal Fort Gardens (just next door to Senate House), but please meet us in the Global Lounge. You will be guided to the picnic by our Global Lounge Ambassadors.
